3.5.6 Dismissal
Learners are dismissed from the program if any one of the following criteria applies:
• Failure to raise the cumulative GPA to 3.0 after one consecutive course sequence on probation
• A course failure (C or lower) while on probation
• Is recommended for dismissal by the HA Programmatic Committee or Program Director due to the specifics of an Oral or Written Warning
• The remediation requirements of a Warning have not been met
• Demonstrates behavior that has been determined by the Faculty to be overtly illegal, and/or unethical
In addition, in the event of an egregious incident, at the discretion of department leadership (Program Director or HA Programmatic Committee), a learner may immediately be removed from participation in courses until Program Director or HA Programmatic Committee reviews.
