6. Fieldwork, Supervision, and Safety
During the internship course, students complete supervised fieldwork hours in approved behavioral health settings. Supervision is a required and supportive component of professional practice. Students are expected to participate actively in supervision, ask questions, and reflect on feedback.
All students must complete required onboarding, health clearances, and background checks prior to placement. Failure to comply with such requirements or verified adverse results from such screening will prompt review by program leadership. Adverse results or noncompliance may result in suspension or dismissal from the program.
Students are expected to follow all supervision structures, site policies, confidentiality standards, and professional expectations established by both the clinical site and the Institute.
