Length of the Doctoral Capstone
The ACOTE standards require that the doctoral capstone be a minimum of 14 weeks and 32 hours per week (minimum 448 hours). This may be completed part-time and must be consistent with the individualized objectives and project and experience. Prior fieldwork or work experience may not be substituted for this experiential component. Documentation of hours is required for successful completion of the program and eligibility to graduate.
