3.1.4.2 Milestone 2: Specific Aims Page (Written Qualifying Component)
Students must complete a one-page Specific Aims document that articulates:
- A clearly defined research gap grounded in the existing literature
- Proposed research aims, and the hypotheses
- A short description of the planned research and analysis
- The anticipated scientific, clinical, or translational impact
The Specific Aims page should demonstrate coherence between the research question, proposed aims, and general approach; a methodological proposal is not required.
