b. Malpractice-Liability Insurance
Non-physician and non-certified-nurse-midwife employees and volunteers of the University are automatically insured for medical-professional liability through the University’s MPL insurance provided by CRICO, providing limits of liability are $5M per claim and $10M annual aggregate. This insurance is provided only in connection with such an insured individual’s work sanctioned by the University. MPL risk exposures not in connection with work sanctioned by the University are not covered by this insurance.
