7.1 Role of the Academic Advisor

When considering an appeal, the student should immediately consult the program director. While the decision to submit an appeal is ultimately that of the student’s, it is advisable to determine if there is sufficient cause for the petition so that the advisor can advocate effectively throughout the process.
