7.3 Grievance Committee Meeting
The Grievance Committee will convene to consider the appeal at the first opportunity (an appeal submitted after the spring semester ends may not be reviewed until mid-summer). The committee is comprised of CSD faculty members. The student has the right to attend the meeting and speak directly, or may allow their Program Director to speak on their behalf; the decision not to attend is not held against the student.
The student will be informed of the committee's decision within 10 days of the meeting, and a written copy will be provided to the student and placed in their official University file.
In cases of warnings, suspensions, or dismissals, the student may appeal the CSD Grievance Committee's decision through the University's Student Grievance Procedure. All other decisions are final.
