3.5.5 Probation
All learners are required to maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 each semester. Learners with a cumulative GPA below 3.0 will be on probation during the next course semester in attendance. Learners remain on probation until a cumulative GPA of 3.0 has been achieved. During every semester on probation, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher. While on probation, students are not able to drop any courses – either with or without a W grade – after week 2 of the semester. If at any point, earning the required cumulative 3.0 for graduation is not mathematically possible, students will be dismissed from the program. Grades used to determine probation will be those from the Registrar’s transcript. Being on probation has implications for the receipt of financial aid.
