5. Graduation Requirements, Student Performance Expectations, Progression in the Program

Graduation Requirements

To be eligible for graduation from the PA program, students must satisfy all the following requirements:

 

  1. Satisfaction of all academic requirements: To graduate, students must satisfy all academic requirements, including passing all required course, completing program milestones. Specifically, student will need to:

  • Complete all required didactic, seminar, and clinical clerkship courses with a final grade of C+ (77%) or higher.

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Earn a passing score on the Preclinical Year Summative Written and Practical Examinations administered at the conclusion of the preclinical curriculum.

  • Earn a passing score on the Clinical Year Summative Written and Practical Examinations administered within the final four months of the program.

2. Satisfaction of Professionalism Requirements: To graduate, students must meet and maintain the standards of professionalism set forth in the PA Program Manual including responsibility, communication, integrity, collaboration) throughout the program (see Section 10: Professionalism).

3.Satisfaction of Technical Standards: To graduate, students must meet and maintain the technical standards set forth in the PA Program Manual (see Section 4.1 Technical Standards)

4. Satisfaction of Application to Graduate Submission

5. Medical Health Requirements: To graduate, students must maintain their compliance with the Immunization and Certification policy.
