4.5 Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
Use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including text-generation platforms and AI-assisted writing technologies, must comply with course-specific expectations and Institute academic integrity policies.
Unless explicitly permitted by faculty, submitted work should represent the student’s own understanding, effort, and original academic work. Students are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, originality, confidentiality, and appropriate citation of any AI-assisted content used in coursework or academic activities.
Faculty may establish additional expectations regarding AI use within individual courses.
