3.4 Attendance and Engagement Expectations
Regular attendance and active engagement are essential to success in this program. Behavioral health work requires reliability, presence, and accountability, and these expectations begin in the classroom.
Students are expected to attend all required in-person and synchronous online sessions, complete asynchronous learning activities by posted deadlines, and arrive prepared for class, simulation, and fieldwork. If you anticipate missing a class, arriving late, or needing flexibility, you should communicate with course faculty as early as possible.
Clinical placements have stricter attendance expectations. Missed fieldwork hours may require make-up time and, in some cases, may jeopardize successful completion of the course or program.
